Registration will be open from 8am on Monday 15 June.

Please visit the Registration Desk to collect your name tag and event materials. You will need your tickets, either printed or open on your phone, for a smooth
check-in.

We’re facilitating Coffee + Conversations at The Tramsheds Function Centre from 8am-9.30am Monday morning, and 8am-9am Tuesday morning. It’s your opportunity to grab a coffee and meet up with fellow attendees before the proceedings of the day. Coffee is on us!

Getting to Launceston

Launceston Airport is a short 15-minute car drive from the CBD. There are taxi ranks and Uber to the left as you walk outdoors from Arrivals, and car hire options to the right. Alternatively, you can take Line 796 (bus) into town, which is approximately a 26-minute ride to the CBD. All bus services in Tasmania are free until 1 July 2026.

Accommodation

For travellers wishing to stay a night or two nearby, there are plenty of accommodation options. Make sure to book early to avoid missing out!

Hotel Verge

We have partnered with Hotel Verge to offer all guests of Tomorrow Conference reduced rates during the event. Elegant and refined, Hotel Verge is located in Launceston’s CBD and is just an 8-minute walk from The Tramsheds Function Centre.

Moxxi

If you’d prefer an apartment or small home for your stay, we highly recommend Moxxi, who have a range of beautiful short term stays across Tasmania, with multiple located in and around Launceston.

As mentioned, we’ve created an opportunity for you to connect with fellow attendees over complimentary coffee from 8am at The Tramsheds Function Centre. We would love you to join us.

Breakfast is not provided. Morning tea will be served around 11.20am each day.

Make the most of your time in Tasmania

For any attendees joining us from interstate, we encourage you to make the most of your time in Tasmania. Our event coincides with some of Dark Mofo, Hobart’s dazzling mid-winter arts and culture festival, which runs from Thursday 11 June, to Monday 22 June.

It’s the perfect chance to mix leisure with business and enjoy a true taste of Tasmania whilst here.

Walk and run

For those who wish to get active early in the morning, Launceston has a couple of great walks and runs.

Cataract Gorge Trails

Start at Kings Bridge – look for the signage at the trailhead, which links to the First Basin. You can take Cataract Walk (‘Easy’ grade; 1km one-way), which runs along the cliff face. Alternatively, you can opt for a more challenging route and take the Zig Zag Track, which runs on the opposite side to the Cataract Walk. The Zig Zag Track is graded ‘Hard’ and is a one-way, 1km track.

You might like to take the Zig Zag to the First Basin, cross the water, and return to the Kings Bridge via the Cataract Walk.

Park Run Course

A flat, scenic course on compacted gravel and sealed path, starting behind UTAS Stadium (Inveresk Precinct), at Gate 10. The first kilometre takes you along the North Esk River flood levee, past the entrance to Churchill Park.

Upon leaving the flood levee and entering the park, the course skirts around the outside of the sportsgrounds before turning left to take in a clockwise internal loop of scenic Heritage Forest and back to the Churchill Park sportsgrounds. The last kilometre returns around the outside of the sportsgrounds and back along the flood levee to the start/finish line.

What to bring on the day

Complimentary barista-style coffee will be served from 8am-9.30am Monday morning and 8am-9am Tuesday morning during our Coffee + Conversations session.

Morning tea and lunch are served on both days. Matson Catering do an excellent job of accommodating dietary requirements. We ask that you please inform us of any needs you have in advance so that we can pass them along to our caterers.

There’s not much that you’ll need, but it’s handy to have these items:

Your printed ticket (or digital ticket, ready on your phone) – for smooth registration

A water bottle – you’ll be able to refill these from water stations

Pen and paper – for jotting down brilliant ideas

Need a quiet spot?

If you’ve got a meeting scheduled during the event that you can’t miss, or just need a quiet place to get some work done, head to the UTAS Inveresk Library.

The library is open to the public and is situated only a short walk from The Tramsheds Function Centre. You can opt to book a private meeting room at the library. Please contact our event organisers if you are interested.
